(Aug/29 2:55 PM) mattlarsh: I'm completely lost with the security challenges. Any tips?
(Sep/01 5:05 AM) jhandl: @mrdaniel, I submitted a question a while ago and it doesn't show on the questions section. Any idea what could be happening? Thanks!
(Sep/02 7:42 AM) jhandl: Hi @mrdaniel, I answered your question. I'm not sure you will get notified, as the Q&A system doesn't seem to allow threads, and I got notification of my answer as if it was an answer to my original question instead of yours. Another little problem to fix! :)
(Sep/06 2:06 AM) alvynmcq: mrdaniel, I sent an email a minute ago about my member status. It seems to be sorted now. Thanks.
(Sep/08 6:00 PM) cawest1221: @mrdaniel Great First Security Challenge !
(Sep/09 12:52 PM) mattlarsh: I'm still clueless on the Security Challenges. Can anyone point me to a tutorial or article? Something?
(Sep/14 11:06 AM) cawest1221: @mattlarsh think about directory traversal for challenge 1
(Sep/15 7:36 PM) mattlarsh: @cawest1221 Hey, thanks! I'm still working on it. I've found the name through directory traversal, at least made me feel like I made progress.
(Sep/18 5:44 PM) nstanard: Challenges seem to be broken
(Sep/22 1:03 PM) MarshallOfSound: I can't seem to make progress on the first security challenge
(Sep/22 1:11 PM) MarshallOfSound: And I found the login page for the second challenge, but none of my sql injection tactics seem to work
(Sep/22 2:31 PM) mattlarsh: @MarshallOfSound Are you trying directory traversal on the first challenge? I've found the name on a .txt file, but i've still have yet to find the password.
(Sep/22 6:22 PM) MarshallOfSound: I've found that text file as well but again, no password...
(Sep/23 5:38 AM) codemonkei: I thought it might have been in cookies but I guess not since we didn't log in, still looking...
(Oct/05 4:04 AM) jhandl: @mrdaniel, any chance you might answer my question at http://coderbyte.com/CodingArea/Questions/Q/index.php?q=something-strange-with-array-addition ?
(Oct/08 7:56 AM) mattlarsh: @mrdaniel, You should send an email out to everyone about the member part of the site. It took me a while to notice the link on the challenges page about it.
(Oct/13 5:31 AM) LeDuke: don't regret the membership, a pleasure to contribute
(Oct/20 2:46 PM) jackgeek: I think it would be great if this site provided some kind of badge that we could put on say our linked in profiles. Ala stackoverflow
(Oct/29 3:19 AM) kimeshan: Security challenges are quite exciting, nice addition. For the first challenge i tried using HTTrack (httrack.com) to download the website (and all the files). I can only see the index.html file though. Should I be looking into directory traversal instead?
(Nov/09 10:12 PM) drewprice: @mrdaniel Any news on the ability to complete challenges in multiple languages?
(Nov/11 4:43 AM) jackgeek: e works for the three examples given ut when I submit the code it says I got 0 correct. Even though at least one of the incorrect test cases matches the example given.
