  • Good luck, wingydingy! The interviews are meant to ensure that you not only have the basics of Javascript down, but, more importantly, are capable of learning quickly. I don't want to ruin the interview experience, but you may find it difficult...all to make sure you're ready for the accelerated program. The first interview is what all your initial studying is for. You'll get fairly straight-forward Javascript problems followed by a Q&A session. If you pass, then you'll get an interesting homework assignment to prepare you for the technical interview. And this technical interview is where you'll understand what attending Hack Reactor is like. It probably won't be a walk in the park. Then you wait. Good luck, and let us know how it goes! And to anyone who has an interest in Hack Reactor, apply! If you're up for a challenge that will test your limits and aren't afraid to fail, you've got nothing to lose. Even if you find that attending Hack Reactor isn't in the cards yet, all the pre-interview work will leave you with a valuable skill in Javascript programming.

  • There is another really good training center to learn everything in UI. Its called GoLiveLabs. I recently interviewed with them and got in. Check out their website. Not only do they give one on one attention to all fo us in class ( small class of 6) but also have a career department that actively circulates our resumes and gets us interviews. The previous batch got some awesome job offers since they knew all the lastest languages. There is an interview but its mostly to asess how much you know so that they can tailor their teachin around your class level. They are still growing so you may not have heard of it. I amm learning so much!!
